At Katzenbarkers, our objective is to help your animal companion live a long and healthy life. Your pet is unique, and it is our goal to provide the products that best meet their individual needs.

Located in the Wausau River West neighborhood, we take pride in being a community store. We enjoy getting to know our customers (and their pets) by name. We are grateful for the support of our community!

Opening the first store in 2004, Lois created Katzenbarkers to fill a need for natural pet food in the Wausau area. With her passion and support from family, the store's customer base expanded beyond the river district, and we are excited to have opened our second location in Weston in November 2023. We look forward to celebrating 20 years of business in the spring of 2024.
